A deadly storm in the western Canadian province of British Columbia dumped the region’s average monthly rainfall in just 24 hours.
The Canadian Armed Forces have been deployed to help thousands of stranded residents since the storm made landfall on Sunday night.
One woman was killed in a landslide and two are missing.
