A boy believed to be 12 years old has been stabbed in Newham, east London

The Metropolitan Police said officers were called at 8:17 p.m. to Brook Road in Plaistow following reports of a stabbing.

The boy was found with a stab wound at the scene.

A Met spokesman said: “He was treated at the scene, and we are awaiting a review of his condition.

“One male was arrested on suspicion of GBH and another for lewdness.”

Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
