Boosie took to Twitter to share updates and call for protests
On Wednesday night, Boosie took to Twitter to share a lengthy update regarding his bond and its pending release.
The rapper explained that although he had satisfied a $50,000 bond, prosecutors in his case refused to “respect” the judge’s decision to release him.
“After the judge granted me bail, and I paid all my cash, the prosecution refused to honor the judge’s decision to release me…”
Boosie explained that prosecutors had no reason to suspect him of being “a flight risk or danger to the public.”
Additionally, the rapper went on to accuse one of the prosecutors of “singing Wipe Me Down… with a wicked look.”
“Prosecutor Mr.Wheat watched me sing Wipe Me Down, wiped my shoulders and shook my head with a wicked look. This is completely wrongdoing by a prosecutor…”
Boosie then accused one of the prosecutors of being “racist” and explained that they had filed another appeal asking the judge to keep him in jail.
“He is racist and has evil intentions. Now they have filed an appeal asking another judge to keep me in jail…”
Boosie ended his tweet by explaining that he needed the public to “protest” the “injustice” that was happening to him.
“I need the people of San Diego outside the courthouse tomorrow to protest the injustice that is happening to me. I need ALL prayer warriors around the world to pray for this southern California county to remove Mr. wheat and this prosecution from my case. Even my attorneys have never seen anything like this in their careers. Help me fight this injustice and pray for my freedom tomorrow.”

During the hearing, prosecutors argued that the rapper was in danger of absconding. Meanwhile, his legal team argued that the charges against Boosie were “unnecessary federal prosecution.”
