This horsepower power comes from a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 petrol engine that produces 585 hp and 750 Nm of torque before being boosted by an electric drivetrain, up from capacity of 489 hp and 650 Nm on the regular XM. Additional torque from the Red Label XM internal combustion engine also benefits from a wider rpm range, with peak figures now between 1,800 rpm and 5,400 rpm.

As before, the electric motor in the XM Label Red is rated for 197 hp and 280 Nm of torque. Combined, the more powerful powertrain in the XM Label Red enables a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 3.8 seconds, with an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h or up to 290 km/h. with the optional M Driver Package. regulations.
