A brewery in Colorado is giving everyone a chance to receive small cases of beer delivered by Saint Bernards!
Breckenridge’s Breckenridge Brewery cooperated with Colorado Saint Bernard Rescue to include “St. Beer-Nard Deliveres,” in time for Christmas.
For a small barrel of the brewery’s beer delivered by dogs, you can enter to win at Breckenridge Brewery website.

The website states:
“Residents of Denver and NYC can enter to win our beloved Christmas Ale mini-keg delivered by fluffy, friendly, Saint Bernards. Winners will be able to pet and play with the dogs to relieve the stress of the festival, as well as snap some hilarious photos perfect for holiday cards! ”
St. Bernard is often depicted with wine goblets tied around his neck, which they are said to have used to help warm travelers with colds. Follow Smithsonian, the myth dates back to the days when dogs would help travelers cross the Alps between Italy and Switzerland.
In myth, the infamous Saint Bernard Pass is often a place where visitors will struggle, but dogs will show up and offer wine. While that part of the story isn’t backed up by historical evidence, dogs did indeed show up and provide assistance to visitors with colds. The dogs will lie on top of the bodies until someone can help, or help lead those lost on the pass to safety.
While the Saint Bernards may not have actually delivered drinks to people in the past, this could be their chance to make that legend come true!
Those who want to win the experience of meeting the dogs and receiving the mini crate will have to be residents of Colorado City or New York. They are accepting entries to win until December 12, 2021, and delivery will take place on December 16.
