Bentley Offers Forbidden Toblerone

I love a good thing trick. For me, cars today are too far away. serious and straightforwardI want some improvisation in my car – some farceLucky for me, Bentley doing just that. I just completed a loan a week ago for a very well furnished apartment GTC Azure Continentand overall this convertible is beautiful – but there’s one thing that caught my eye the most: its rotating screen – Forbidden Toblerone. It’s called the Bentley Rotating Display, yes, but the Forbidden Toblerone is much more interesting.

According to the standard, Conti Comes with 12.3 inch display Infotainment screen. It works really well on its own and blah blah blah who cares. That is the infotainment screen.. It works, but with very little fanfare. That’s where Bentley’s The engineers and designers came in. They decided that the center stack needed to be reworked, so they came up with this folding triangle idea and it’s perfect.

Yes it is very expensive perfection. To upgrade from a regular display, you must pay a fee. Bentley $6,820. That sounds like a lot, but when the car’s total MSRP is $369,825 (including destination), what’s seven grand? It’s a drop in the bucket.

Price is limited, you need this swivel screen – Forbidden Toblerone – if you are buying one GT Continent (Don’t be too sad, I’m not buying it either.) Basically, as Toblerone describes it, there are three sides to this device. One is the 12.3-inch side infotainment screen. Another is just a blank dashboard when the car is off. The third – my favorite – is a trio of dials: temperature, direction and one stopwatch It’s not really useful, but I think they look great. You can switch between the two with the “Screen” button just below. I basically keep the gauges on. The gauge cluster can handle most of what the center screen does anyway. If it’s running Apple CarPlay, I will probably never use this monitor.

However, one of the great uses of the center display is 360 camera system, parking sensor And backup camera. Even when you turn off the screen, the screen rotates almost instantly to show the camera when you get too close to the object in front or back up. So there’s no need to worry.

Another thing I really like about Forbidden Toblerone is how it works. Simply rotating it on a fixed base isn’t enough. axis. That would be too simple – too boring. Instead, it moves in and out a little to avoid the trim pieces, flips over, and moves back into place – flush with the rest of the panel. It’s cool to see.

More automakers need to do things like this, especially when More and more people are (stupidly) voicing their dissatisfaction with the display. It just adds beauty to an already beautiful interior space.
