behind the mask is back with another new video,”Jo in blue,” invites viewers to explore Socorro—and its dolphins, hammerheads, jackfish, and mantises—from the perspective of an exceptional diver. Socorro is a small volcanic island in the Revillagigedo Islands, more than 350 miles off the west coast of Mexico, known for its spectacular encounters with floating fish. Beautifully shot—as you’d expect from BTM’s talented team—the film perfectly captures the sense of peace, fun and freedom that diving brings.
In the text accompanying the video, the BTM team said: “[U]Beneath the giant mantis’ wings, there’s a hidden diver, which makes a little more sense to us. This is the story of a diver’s quest for the beauty of the ocean, from the comfort of his own two-wheeler.”
