There was a lot of drama last weekend before the original voice of Bayonetta Hellena Taylor has posted a series of videos on social networks accuse developers of PlatinumGames and Hideki Kamiya of an offensive salary offer.
This is followed with a Bloomberg reports and separate sources The original Taylor statement offered more than what was previously mentioned. New voice actor in Bayonetta 3 Jennifer Hale even spoke – explaining that she was unable to share the side of her story due to an NDA, but called for peace for all parties.
Now, we finally have an official statement from PlatinumGames via Twitter. In a brief message, the Japanese company thanked “all those who contributed” to the series over the past year and “fully supported” the new Bayonetta VA. It also asks fans and the wider game community to avoid any comments that are potentially disrespectful to Hale or other contributors to the project.
At PlatinumGames, we extend our sincerest thanks to everyone who has contributed to the creation of the Bayonetta series over the years, as well as the community that has served as its foundation.
We give Jennifer Hale our full support as the new Bayonetta, and fit everything in her statement.
We ask that everyone please avoid any further comments that may be disrespectful to Jennifer or any other contributor to the series.
