Action cameras, for example, have become a go-to kit for skiing, becoming a staple in many photographers’ bags. There are so many options for action cameras out there, so which one is the best?
Incidentally, my first experience with an action camera was while skiing with a friend. I don’t have a need to buy one in my camera bag, however I’d love to have one, so I’m curious to see what it can do. This was over a decade ago and even then, it was impressive. Now, we have some amazing results from these little bodies and so it is interesting to compare current offerings. In this video we see GoPro11 pitted against DJI Osmo Action 3.
I don’t want to get into what Peter Lindgren has to say, but I’ll give my own thoughts. While it’s worth noting that the camera is set to automatic settings and more exploitable manually, it’s a perfectly fair test and I think the results are stellar. I love DJI as a company and their drones are my go-to, but the GoPro 11 beat the Osmo Action 3 more or less in every test here.
