A new fighting game for Baki, titled Baki: King of Souls, will arrive on mobile at some point in 2022. Like most mobile games, the game itself will be free but there will be microtransactions. Baki: King of Souls part of the project to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the series’ launch. It will have characters from both Baki and Baki Hanma series. The game’s Twitter account will announce the playable characters before the game is released. Baki and Baki Hanma available to stream via Netflix.
There are many other collaborations and campaigns to celebrate Baki30th anniversary. For example, Baki, Doppo, and Kaoru’s Pop Up Parade characters are now open for pre-order via Good Smile Company. Good Smile first published these figures in WonHobby 34 last year.
Baki Not the only anime series with mobile games on the horizon. In December 2021, both Jujutsu Kaisen and Black Clover announced that they will appear on mobile devices. Like Baki games, they will be free to play with gacha elements and microtransactions. Jujutsu Kaisen: Phantom Parade and Black Clover Mobile will also launch in 2022, although the exact release date is still unknown.
Baki: King of Souls will be available in 2022 on Android and iOS devices. There is currently no news on whether Baki: King of Souls There will be an overseas release.
