Arnold & Son expands on what was foretold Perpetual Moon Collection with a new version featuring a shimmering brilliant blue mother-of-pearl dial inside a new 38mm red gold case set with new diamonds. And while this addition to the Swiss watchmaker’s collection is the smallest in size, it powers one of the larger moon phase displays available.

The new Arnold & Son Perpetual Moon 38 Gold Moonlight features a richly decorated evening sky dial with a diamond-set bezel set with diamonds used for the hour markers, crown and lugs.
All told, you’ll find 138 diamonds (2.61 carats) sparkling on the watch, reflecting light that complements the SuperLuminova setting moon, made more realistic with shadows painted with hand. The constellations Ursa Major and Cassiopeia complete the shot nearby.
The Arnold & Son A & S1612 hand-winding movement inside the collection is the watch brand’s smallest, measuring 29.4 mm in diameter, allowing it to fit perfectly into the 38 mm x 10.44 mm case. New of the watch.
The beautifully finished manual-winding movement, smaller than the A&S1512 found inside the 42mm Perpetual Moon series, still packs an impressive technical punch with its 90-hour power reserve. And like those larger movements, the new model also boasts 122 years of accuracy – if the watch is wound.
