I’ve come to understand that the festive period is marked by different things for different people. Whilst some are enthused by evenings spent wandering around Christmas markets and the joys of gift-giving, others are simply relieved to have some downtime worked into the calendar. Speaking on behalf of fashion editors, we’d be lying if we told you that the advent of sale season didn’t contribute to our festive spirit in a pretty big way.
Now that we’re heading towards the end of December and sales are launching across brands and retailers, I’ve honed in on some of my high-street favourites to discover the best items on sale right now. Topping the charts for me is Mango. For its incredible range of fabulous dresses, I’ll always come back to the brand when in need of partywear. Beyond that, it’s where I turn for elevated basics such as flowy blouses, well-cut jeans and of course, accessories.
