Army K-9 steps out of elevator & sees his handler for the first time in 3 years
Sgt. Joe Stasio and K-9 Enzo served together in the Marines for over a year. For seven months, they were side by side in Kuwait, training together in the US. The two of them last met in January 2017, but now that Enzo is eight years old and retired, Stasio has been able to adopt him thanks to Rescue Mission K9.

Although they were not able to reunite immediately, the two were finally reunited after three years in a warm moment at Buffalo/Niagara International Airport in New York. Stasio waited for Enzo outside the elevator and hugged him as soon as he saw him. Enzo was flown from Camp LeJune in North Carolina to Buffalo so that Stasio could rejoin him.
