Apple’s 14-inch MacBook Pro (8/10, WIRED Recommend) comes with upgrades inside and out. It has an industrial design, with a more boxy frame, lots of ports (including a MagSafe port for charging), a nice 14.2-inch display with ProMotion (boosts frame rates to 120 Hz) and a 1080p webcam. Under the hood, the M1 Pro offers great performance that can handle nearly any task you do with it. Apple is likely to announce next-generation versions of the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro this month, but if you want to save money, this is a great option.

The 16-inch MacBook Pro (512 GB) offers the same features as the 14-inch version. But because it’s huge, it’s not the most portable MacBook and barely fits in most of my backpacks. With the A15 Bionic processor (the same powering last year’s iPhone 13), it’s fast enough to handle demanding apps and games. It has second generation Apple Pencil support, allowing you to use it as a sketchpad or notebook. It usually drops to this price, but it’s still a good deal.

As with the iPad Pro, Apple is expected to announce the 10th generation iPad this month. This wireless charger from Satechi ranks #1 in our buying guide for Apple’s best 3-in-1 wireless charger. It doesn’t offer the fastest charging speeds, but it’s perfect for charging your device overnight. With an attractive aluminum design, it is also a great addition to your nightstand. However, you will have to use your own 20-watt power adapter—we recommend Anker’s if you haven’t already.

Ugreen’s wireless charger is a fully certified charging station that delivers up to 15 watts of power, which means it will charge your iPhone quickly (in addition to your Apple Watch and AirPods). However, it is important to note that it does not come with a power adapter, so you will have to purchase one separately.

The HaloLock wireless charger comes with both a status light and a built-in fan to keep your phone cool while charging (both of which can be turned off when you go to sleep). It charges only 7.5 watts, but a power adapter and cable are included. However, you will need to use your own Apple Watch charging dock.

Anker’s 623 MagGo is a compact cylindrical charger — featuring a flip-up phone stand that lets you secure your phone in place to charge your AirPods. It comes with a cable and adapter in the box. The two Anker chargers below are also very solid.

This Anker is a cute little sphere that you can attach your iPhone to to charge. On the back, there are two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, and three AC outlets. It’s a good way to tidy up your desk.

Along with the two Anker chargers above, the 633 is the most ingenious of them all. You can charge your phone right there and adjust it for the ideal viewing angle, or you can charge it on the go. We think the cord of the Apple MagSafe Charger is too short. This one is 6.5 feet, which we appreciate. However, it charges a bit slowly, but there are many interesting colors and styles to choose from.
