Anya Taylor-Joy wore a controversial shorts and shoes combination outfit

Anya Taylor-Joy is nothing short of intimidating when it comes to fashion. She was never afraid Experiment with bold trends on and off the red carpet. So perhaps it’s no surprise that she tested out the summer’s most controversial combination: micro leather shorts with over-the-knee boots, both designed by Chloé. Of course, leather isn’t exactly summer, although ultra-short hems are actually great for high temperatures.

Over-the-knee boots are definitely not the first thing that comes to mind when I think of them summer shoes, but Anya pulled off this look with confidence. While I’m here in my tried-and-true flip-flops or sneakers, Anya is definitely having more fun with summer fashion, and for that I applaud her.
