American Airlines pilots recommend flying Delta or United

Hell has no anger like a American Airlines pilots wish they could fly for another airline.

This seems to be a disturbing conclusion as American pilots continue to work as their own managers.

In public places. Yes, even on social media.

The pilots’ union, the Allied Pilots Association, has repeatedly adorned Twitter and YouTube with messages suggesting that you may not want to fly American Airlines this summer.

Definitely a misunderstanding, you might think.

But what do you think of the pilots? recent contemplation: “Traveling with American Airlines? Is American Airlines not ready for a busy summer.”?

Pilots emphasize management are treating them badlychange their schedules at the worst times and often behave in a less competent – and unconcerned – manner.

They are crafting relatively slick ads to support their goal.

However, their message was also customer-oriented, as if they felt those customers would be better off flying with someone else.

This has reached a new level of sharpness with an ad that is, in its own right, quite surprising.

It offers quotes from famous business figures. Sample: “Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.” This is allowed by Warren Buffett.

Then there’s the JW Marriott: “If you take care of your employees, they’ll take care of your customers, and your business will take care of itself.”

Some people may feel this is like a mix of mouthwash and mouthwash. A business really needs to be managed, right? At least a little bit?

Then the ad delivers this intonation from Virgin Atlantic founder Richard Branson: “Your employees are your real competitive advantage. They’re the ones who do wonders – as long as your needs are in demand. they are met.”

But then the pilots aimed a sizable fist at the American solar plexus.

They offer: “When you take care of your employees, they will take care of your customers, who will then reward you with their business and loyalty.”

This sounds like a re-edit of Marriott’s words. But the real blow is that these words are from Ed Bastian. He is the CEO of Delta Air Lines.

It’s a more unpleasant touch than some American economy seats.

Pilots are not taken. The next quote in this hall of fun sends a real, figurative sarcasm in the face of their management.

Here’s the saying: “I really have a responsibility, which is to make our employees proud.”

Well, that sounds pretty cool, doesn’t it?

Oh, but the saying goes on: “If our employees were proud of United Airlines, they would want customers to feel like they were about United.”

In fact, an agent of United gate recently injured – and fired – when he got into a fight with a client, but we have a bigger fight here. United’s quote comes from the airline’s CEO, Scott Kirby.

Until recently, he served as president of, oh, American Airlines. While studying in the US, he was known as a less emotional person than a data-loving robot.

Perhaps, then, the message is that everyone can change for the better.

And I’m sure this is just a coincidence, but United agreed a new contract with its pilots.

Some might find that flying some of America’s competitors is not a good package of cookies these days. Delta, example, summary canceled 100 flights just as Memorial Day weekend was in full bloom.

But who can deny that American Airlines pilots are just trying to send a simple message to customers: “American Airlines will let you down, dear customer, just like it let us down. . United and Delta are so much better. And, by the way, its pilots are happier too.”
