Red Bull-owned Formula One team AlphaTauri has revealed the paint colors its cars will wear for the 2023 season. It presents a new look at Lincoln Center during New York Fashion Week and it will begin testing soon new car to make sure it’s ready for the first race.
Called AT04, the new car stands out from its predecessor, AT03 race into the 2022 season, with more Colorful Look. Red appears on the mirrors, wheels, halo and rear spoiler, among other parts. It’s not chosen at random: it’s the color of PKN Orlen, the Polish oil company that is the new main partner of AlphaTauri (and Alfa Romeo former sponsor). The company’s logo still appears on the sides of the body.
Alike Haas’ rival, AlphaTauri previewed the new paint color by showing it on the upcoming vehicle. It is expected that the AT04 will launch at the end of February 2023 and this model will launch its rival in Bahrain grand opening in March 2023 after extensive trials around the world. As of writing, there’s no word on what will differentiate the AT04 from the AT03, although we’re expecting the team to make some improvements.
Yuki Tsunoda and Nyck De Vries will be driving the AT04s during the 2023 season.
