Actor Micah Beals charged with vandalizing George Floyd statue : NPR

New York police have arrested a person in reference to the vandalism of a newly-unveiled statue of George Floyd earlier this month.
The New York Metropolis Police Division Hate Crimes Activity Pressure announced on Monday that it had charged 37-year-old Micah Beals of Manhattan with second-degree felony mischief.
Beals’ legal professional, Rebecca Heinsen of Authorized Help Society, declined to touch upon the arrest or cost.
