ACE 2022: Discover the new Volvo XC40 B5 and Recharge T5 facelift – with great deals and prizes!
The paultan.org Auto Car Expo (ACE)co-sponsored by myTukar, Petron and Yinson GreenTech, will take place on November 5-6 in Setia City Convention Center (SCCC) with attractive incentives for vehicles of many different brands and models. Volvothrough Ingress Swede Automobile, which will also be part of the event with the display of new products such as facelifted XC40 B5 mild hybrid and XC40 Recharge T5. Both facelifted variants of the XC40 will only be available in a single trim level – Ultimate – replacing the previous R-Design version.
Launched just a few days ago, both variants of the facelifted XC40 are locally assembled and priced similarly at RM68,888. The XC40 B5 Ultimate is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine and is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. It produces 263 hp and 390 Nm of torque driving all four wheels.
On the other hand, the XC40 Recharge T5 Ultimate PHEV is equipped with a three-cylinder 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (wet clutch). The powertrain generates 262 hp and 425 Nm to drive the front wheels. The Recharge T5 PHEV is also equipped with a 10.7 kWh lithium-ion battery that provides an all-electric driving range of up to 44 km.
Standard equipment on both variants includes 19-inch wheels, a 600-watt 14-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, power-adjustable front seats with driver-side and rear-view mirror position memory, and a 360-degree surround-view camera. Driver assistance also comes in the form of a City Safety package, along with features like blind spot information with steering assist and cross-traffic alert with automatic emergency braking.
Besides Volvo, brands like Honda’s motobike, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, Protons, Peroduaand Subaru will also be present at the fair. Luxury brands like Mercedes-Benz will be represented by Cycles & Shipping while BMW car and MINI vehicle will be introduced by Wheelcorp Premium.
