Coming to you from John Branch IV Photography, this awesome first look video takes a look at the new Fujifilm GF 55mm f/1.7R WR lens for Fujifilm GFX medium format mirrorless cameras. Designed for both low-light performance and narrow depth of field, the 55mm f/1.7 is quite a versatile option. It also comes with 14 elements in 10 groups, 11 aperture blades for especially smooth bokeh, DC motor with GMR sensor AF system, a minimum focus distance of 1.6 feet (50 cm), maximum magnification of 0.17x, and a weather-resistant design for working in inclement conditions. In addition, it is relatively compact for a medium format lens with such a wide maximum aperture, measuring 3.9 inches (9.9 cm) long and weighing 1.72 lbs (780 g).
