H&M Just Released a $6,000 Version of Hailey Bieber’s $150 Jacket

Breaking News: H&M’s fall/winter collection hit stores yesterday, and when I say I’ve already filled my shopping cart, I’m not kidding. I spent the morning browsing the new collection, which is packed with key seasonal trends like leopard print, funnel necks, and deep burgundy hues. But there was one item that stopped me in my tracks. Maxi Belted Jacket ($150), floor-length dress made of wool blend, belted at the waist and very trendy funnel. With those details, the coat looks like it would be listed on Net-a-Porter for 20 or 30 times its price. I know it’s still early days for coats, but trust me when I say this one won’t be in stock for long.

I quickly realized why. It reminded me of the jacket I had seen. Hailey Bieber worn all fall and winter last year. However, Bieber’s coat is a Saint Laurent piece that costs a whopping $6,490. While Bieber’s coat was a black sweater on the runway, H&M’s version is actually a dark army green and made from a recycled polyester and wool blend, though it looks just as luxe.
