According to TMZ, Lil Baby, whose real name is Dominique Jones, was arrested in the city on Monday night, August 26. The outlet added that Baby was arrested for illegal possession of a firearm or “carrying a concealed weapon without a permit.”
Additionally, the newspaper added that Baby was taken to the Clark County Detention Center and is being held on $5,000 bail.
At this time, it is unclear whether the rapper is still in police custody. Additionally, Clark County booking records accessed by Shade room on Tuesday, August 27, which does not appear to reflect the rapper’s recent schedule.
Additionally, a post shared via the rapper’s Instagram Story on Tuesday morning appeared to indicate that he would be performing at a concert Tuesday night in Los Angeles, California.

“To be clear, Dominique Jones holds a valid Georgia Concealed Weapons (CCW) Permit. On his behalf, we are actively investigating the events and circumstances surrounding his arrest in Las Vegas,” they said in a statement.
