AOI Announces Quick Release Mount System for DJI Osmo Action 3/4 and Insta360 Ace/Ace Pro

After release Quick Release System (QRS) Mount for GoProAOI has unveiled two similar products designed for competing action cameras: QRS-02-MB3 for DJI Osmo Action 3/4 and QRS-02-MB4 for Insta360 Ace/Ace Pro. Like the GoPo version, the mount is AOI compatible. Wide angle lens UWL-03 And Close-up lens UCL-03Specially designed for use with action cameras and smartphones.

Action camera users rejoice!

Action cameras have become incredibly popular in recent years, and improvements have made them a favorite choice for underwater enthusiasts. However, these cameras, which are primarily designed for use on land, face some limitations underwater due to the laws of physics.

Some of these limitations include a narrower field of view due to refraction, optical distortions such as the barrel effect or pincushion effect, and reduced clarity due to the inherent focal length of the action camera combined with the density of the water.

To address these challenges, we introduced AOI UWL-03a wide-angle corrected lens, and then launched AOI UCL-03a close-focus lens. These lenses allow users to achieve results never before seen with action cameras. Both lenses work seamlessly with the adapter, which uses the AOI Quick Release System (QRS), providing a safe and quick means of attaching and removing the lens. The original adapter, designed to work with the original GoPro housing and AOI lenses, proved to be a huge success.

Building on this success, we are excited to announce that starting this August, AOI will begin shipping QRS-02-MB3 for DJI Osmo Action 4 or 3 and QRS-02-MB4 for Insta360 Ace or Ace Pro. Users of these cameras can now experience the benefits of the AOI UWL-03 and AOI UCL-03. These adapters are designed to work with the original protective housings provided by the brands, not aftermarket products.
