Malaysia Fuel Prices August 2024 Second Week – Diesel Price Down 5 Sen to RM3.30 a Litre; Petrol Price Unchanged

Here is the weekly fuel price update in Malaysia, as the Ministry of Finance announces the retail fuel prices for the coming week from 8 to 14 August 2024.

Next week will see a downward adjustment in diesel prices, with the price of B10 and B20 Euro 5 diesel blends dropping by 5 sen to RM3.30 a litre, from the previous level of RM3.35 a litre since June 10 when it began. subsidy rationalization program for diesel use in Peninsular Malaysia.

This also means that Euro 5 B7 blend remains 20 sen higher, or RM3.50 a litre. Retail prices of diesel in East Malaysia remain unchanged at RM2.15 a litre and RM2.35 a litre respectively. Meanwhile, petrol prices remain unchanged, with RON 97 petrol remain at RM3.47 a litreand current RON 95 ceiling price RM2.05 per litre.

These fuel prices will be in effect from midnight tonight until Wednesday, August 14, 2024, when the next set of fuel price updates will be published. This is the 32nd time this year that the weekly fuel price format has been used, and the 291st time since it was introduced in early 2019.
