Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign raised $200 million after President Biden dropped out of the presidential race.
The 59-year-old raised an incredible amount of money in just one week, the Associated Press reported.

Kamala raises $200 million for campaign
You might want to start calling Vice President ‘Cash Up Kamala. She is pulling in MEGA numbers for her campaign. The majority of donations (66%) are from first-time donors. These donations were made after Biden announced his withdrawal from the presidential race and endorsed Kamala. Additionally, 170,000 volunteers support the likely Democratic nominee and her bid to win the White House. The election is just 100 days away and these individuals will be calling, canvassing, and doing everything in their power to ensure citizens vote for Harris.
People quickly shifted their support after Biden dropped out of the race. As The Shade Room previously reported, there were strong calls for the President to drop out of the Democratic ticket. Harris’s July 27 rally, originally for Biden, exceeded expectations. Hundreds of people attended the Pittsfield, Massachusetts, rally, expecting to raise $400,000. Instead, they tripled the amount to $1.4 million. Kamala said she was “the underdog” in her campaign speech, but the funding certainly brought a huge boost of energy.
Kamala is endorsed by prominent politicians
Bill Clinton, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi have all recently announced their support for Alpha Kappa Alpha. Additionally, former Presidents Barack Obama and Michelle Obama have said they support it. A video endorsement was released on Friday (July 26).
Michael Tyler, the campaign’s communications director, wrote in a memo: “The momentum and energy for Vice President Harris is real — and so are the fundamentals of this race: this election will be very close and decided by a handful of voters in just a few states.”
Trump and his running mate, Senator JD Vance, are doing their best to portray her as a far-left politician out of touch with mainstream America. The amount of money she is raking in from her supporters suggests she has more support than Donnie thinks. ‘Cash Money Kamala’ is hot on his heels.
