Otto Wallin stops ONORIODE EHWARIEME for the first time

Former world title contender Otto Wallin returned to the ring Friday night to take on Onoriode Ehwarieme in a scheduled eight-round heavyweight bout. The fight took place at the Tropicana Atlantic City, a Boxing Insider The promotion was broadcast live on streaming service DAZN.
A thunderous straight left from the left-handed Wallin knocked Ehwarieme down in the first round. Ehwarieme bravely beat the count, but the referee stepped in and stopped the fight before any further damage could be done. While Wallin was the clear favorite going in, the victory was clean, thunderous and quickly won.
“I was just trying to go out there, not take any chances,” the popular contender said afterwards. “To come back (after losing to Anthony Joshua) and knock someone out in the first round, that always feels great.”
“I’m still one of the best,” he said, “and I think I’ve proven that.”
