Vice President Kamala Harris traveled to Wisconsin on Tuesday (July 23) to continue promoting her new presidential campaign. Kamala Harris Calls Donald Trump ‘Chaos’ at Wisconsin Rally
While speaking to an excited crowd, Harris wasted no time in coming out to endorse the Republican candidate, Donald Trump. Some quotes from the Vice President’s speech are going viral. more online attention, including one about the “choice between freedom and chaos” in November election
“In this campaign, I promise you, I will proudly put my case to fight. [Donald Trump’s] any day of the week,” Kamala Harris said in Wisconsin. “We believe in a future where everyone has the opportunity not just to survive but to get ahead.”

Harris is drawing on her background as a former district attorney and attorney general of California to draw a contrast with Trump. He is the first former president to be convicted of a felony. In May, a jury found him guilty on 34 counts of falsifying business records related to paying “hush money” to an adult entertainer ahead of the 2020 presidential election.
“I have dealt with evil people of all kinds. Predators who have abused women. Con artists who have ripped off consumers. Fraudsters who have broken the rules for their own benefit. So listen to me when I say I know the type of person Donald Trump is,” Vice President Kamala Harris said.
Additionally, Kamala Harris has described her campaign as an effort to “put people first.” Once again, her strategy appears to highlight her stark contrast with Trump, whom she sees as representing special interests and corporations. She has also described her opponent’s policies as outdated and backward.
“We are not going back,” she said. “And I will tell you why we are not going back. Our fight is for the future.”
The statement is similar to that of Barack Obama, who frequently used the phrase during his 2012 re-election campaign to counter Republican ideas.

As previously reported, President Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race on Sunday (July 21). The move comes just weeks after his performance in the presidential debate with Trump came under intense scrutiny. President Biden’s awkward remarks during the debate and came after growing public doubts about his ability to conduct the election.
Note that Kamala Harris has not yet been formally nominated as the Democratic nominee. That will happen at the Democratic National Convention, which begins in about three weeks on August 19.
However, According to the Associated Press, she received nomination support from a majority of voting Democratic delegates. On Monday night, Harris made her announcement about becoming the official Democratic nominee.

A cross-section of Americans and celebrities have rallied behind Harris. As of Sunday afternoon, she had raised $100 million. Meanwhile, on Tuesday, she won the backing of more Democratic officials and political groups.

President Biden makes first appearance signing resignation letter, while Trump campaign shifts focus to ousting Harris
On Monday, she addressed the nation from her new headquarters in Delaware, with President Biden calling to express his support. Earlier today, Biden confirmed plans to address the American people on Wednesday about “what’s next” and completing his duties as president.
Hours later, he made his first public appearance since dropping out of the race. He told reporters waiting for him to board Air Force One that he was “fine.” A subsequent statement from the White House confirmed that his COVID-19 symptoms had disappeared.
Meanwhile, Trump and his campaign quickly shifted focus to Harris, insisting they were prepared for the change and that it did not change their plans.
The former president has dubbed the vice president “Crooked Kamala Harris” and accused her of not being tough enough on crime as a prosecutor. He has also sought to tie her to the administration’s border policies as he seeks to make immigration a central part of his campaign.
Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, said during an appearance in Washington that he was unimpressed by Trump’s attacks. He told reporters on Tuesday, “Is that all he has?”
