During its lifetime 45th General Meeting of ShareholdersCapcom has mentioned that Mega Man remains one of the company’s “most valuable IPs” and that they are “constantly considering how to create games for it” (thanks, Rockman Corner).
Another question regarding the results of Recent Capcom Super ElectionThe poll acknowledged Mega Man’s popularity and asked if this would have any impact on the future of the franchise. Capcom once again noted that it values ”all” of its IPs, including Mega Man, and is always considering how they are used in both games and media.
So don’t worry about Capcom not doing anything yet. new with Mega Man in recent times, as the blue bomber has always been considered for future trips. These comments follow Mega Man’s Game Boy library added to the Switch Online service in June.
