Opening Ceremony Deadline Underwater Awards Australasia Photo Competition is coming! Submissions are closing on August 1st—in about two weeks—so if you haven’t joined yet, make sure you don’t forget!
Needless to say, there are some amazing prizes up for grabs, from the amazing Ikelite, Backscatter and Kraken strobes to spectacular dives from Master Liveaboards, Bilikiki Cruises, Blue Force Fleet and many more. You could even win an amazing underwater drone from QYSEA!
There are eight categories, including our unique “Reels Showcase” video category, and the top photo or video from the category winners will receive the title “Best of Show”. We have an esteemed judging panel including Tobias Friedrich, Jayne Jenkins, Brett Lobwein, Ross Long, Matty Smith and William Tan. The competition culminates in an exhibition at ANZ Scuba Diving Program in September 2024—the first Australian edition of the hugely successful Go Diving Show in the UK.
