BetMGM Expands Sponsorship Support at Ascot Racecourse


Ascot Racecourse is delighted to announce that BetMGM will sponsor the Autumn Derby and extend its sponsorship of the Clarence House Chase in multi-year agreements.

Their sponsorship of multiple race days and multi-year commitment to horse racing at Ascot has reaffirmed their position as a bookmaker that seeks to support the best in British horse racing on both the Flat and National Hunt.

At the BetMGM Autumn Racing Weekend, BetMGM will sponsor three races each day, including featured races on both days, the listed BetMGM Noel Murless Stakes on Friday and the BetMGM Challenge Cup Heritage Handicap, the country’s most valuable seven-furlong handicap, on Saturday.

On BetMGM Clarence House Chase Race Day, BetMGM will sponsor six races, including the signature race, the Grade 1 BetMGM Clarence House Chase, won by hurdle legends such as Shishkin, Un De Sceaux and Altior in recent years. BetMGM will also sponsor the Grade 2 BetMGM Mares’ Hurdle (Registered as The Warfield), won by the likes of Molly Ollys Wishes, Vroum Vroum Mag and Magic Of Light in the past decade.

BetMGM UK is a premium online betting and gaming brand, operated by LeoVegas Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of global entertainment company MGM Resorts International.

Their sponsorship portfolio in British horse racing includes the All Weather Championship, the County Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival and a growing relationship with Ascot, continuing their ambitious expansion plans in the UK into 2024 and beyond.
