If you’re wondering how the price of a car can go up before it’s sold, Confirmed by the Motorcycle Authority For Ford, the price increase is due to a tax on gasoline consumption – which V8 models have been hit with by failing to meet fuel-economy standards – and, as Ford puts it, “strong demand”. .
Including the $1,595 destination fee, the price increases by $1,000 on both the Mustang GT ($44,090; formerly $43,090) and the GT Premium ($48,610; formerly $47.610). The price of the Mustang Dark Horse increased by $1,300 ($60,685; previously $59,565) while the price of the Dark Horse Premium increased by $1,400 ($63,460; previously $62,060).
