College basketball highlights: Men’s conference tournaments in progress
Thursday is filled with a stacked board men’s college basketball act like major conference tournaments – including Big East, Big Ten, large 12And Pac-12 – kick the high number.
The day started with an exciting match between two bubble teams, Rugers And Michigan. The Wolverines showed up in Chicago after defeating the Scarlet Knights just two weeks ago.

Marquette 72, St. John’s 70 OT (Big East)

Marquette took a 6-0 lead to start the game, but St. John’s hit back to end things early in the first half.

Rutgers went on to score 12-0 to extend Michigan’s lead to double digits, which ended with a beautiful pitch from Simpson. Scarlet Knights continued to attack as the second half drew to a close, taking the big win, 62-50.
