As one New Yorkers, shoes are a big priority in the wardrobe. And as a fashion editor, footwear is also a top priority in the wardrobe. Since storage is rather limited in my Manhattan shoebox apartment, shoe shelves are also part of my room decor. I constantly mix social media and online retailers to find the latest styles to add to my installation. All this is to say I love shoes.
Because I have to move in the city every day, I am very uncomfortable with any style of shoe that does not guarantee comfort and flexibility. I choose thicker heels, ballet flats, chunky loafers, kitten heels, and any for all sneakers. A lightweight platform is a big plus.
