Beamtree secures contract to build Health Roundtable’s data platform



Beamtree, an ASX-listed healthcare data specialist, has been tasked with building a data analytics platform for a group of hospitals across Australia and New Zealand.

It recently signed a AU$1 million contract with Health Roundtable, a non-profit that provides collaborative knowledge-sharing and data analysis practices to hospitals in the region. .

The Health Roundtable began in 1995 as a knowledge-sharing collective of clinicians and hospital managers. With a network of 90 health services and 177 hospitals, the organization facilitates the sharing of insights from benchmarked data, best practices and new ideas, activities service improvement and innovation as well as community collaboration.

Based on their revised contractual arrangements, the contract will have a fixed term through July 2031, removing the option to terminate the contract in July 2026.

WHY IT IMPORTANT

In a press release, Tobi Wilson, president of Health Roundtable, mentioned that they are looking to improve the quality of service for its members. Their data platform contract signifies an effort to leverage “every digital advantage to ensure the best possible delivery of timely insights and insights to members.”

Once completed, the data platform is expected to enable “out-of-the-box” analytic services, including alerting and predictive data analytics, as well as a state-of-the-art data platform providing security. enhanced data security, improved processing and digital experiences.

Last year, Beamtree also won major contracts to deploy and distribute its decision support technology globally. In December, it signed a global agreement with Abbott to distribute its RippleDown products, which automate clinical decision-making and pathology management processes. The company has been mined by The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia deploys data and decision support services to more than 450 public and private hospitals. It also landed its first NHS contracts with four hospital trusts in the UK and signed a $1.4 million deal with Ampath to deploy RippleDown across pathology services in South Africa.

According to Beamtree, their latest contract with Health Roundtable is the largest to date, equivalent to about a third of total revenue and a key component of their Analytics and Knowledge Network operations.
