Authorities investigate after mysterious sinkhole appeared in Chile
Chilean authorities are investigating a mysterious sinkhole that appeared over the weekend in a mining area in the north of the country.
Drone footage shows a giant hole in the land operated by Canadian Mining Company Lundin.
Chile’s National Geological and Mining Agency, Sernageomin, has dispatched specialist personnel to an area about 413 miles (665km) north of the capital, Santiago.
