Our guest for Episode 39 of the Rider Magazine Insider Podcast is Hayley Bell, Founder and President of Global Business Development for Powering the world of female racers. The mission of Women Riders World Relay is to bring joy, experience, confidence and a sense of solidarity to female riders around the globe. From February 2019 to February 2020, more than 3,500 women from 79 countries on six continents traveled around the world on two wheels, passing batons from woman to woman and mining 63,000 miles .
Because of her efforts with WRWR, Bell was named Motorcycle racer of the year 2019 of the American Motorcyclists Association. We chat with Bell about how she started WRWR, how the movement grew exponentially within a few weeks, and how hundreds of women around the world volunteer their time and efforts to plan Plan, organize and complete the global relay. We also talk about WRWR’s impact on the motorcycle industry and her role as spokesperson and advocate.
