Taylor Swiftfans know all is good that the singer-songwriter keeps her plans low.
However, the “All Too Well” singer, 32, hinted at the possibility of writing and directing another project during a rare appearance at the Tribeca Film Festival on June 11.
“You know, it’s amazing to write and direct something, a feature,” she explains. “I don’t see it getting bigger in terms of scale. I like making a movie that’s intimate and with a relatively small crew and just a really solid crew that I believe in.”
In addition to showing her short film Everything is so goodTaylor held a Q&A session at the Beacon Theater with the director Mike Millswhere she shares her initial apprehensions about entering the directorial role when she “didn’t go to school to do it”, per Diversity.
When she learned that Mike similarly didn’t attend film school, she added, “It makes me feel better. Do you feel it’s a great exercise in trusting instincts? gut? There are so many decisions you have to make. Saying ‘I don’t know’ isn’t really an option most of the time.”
