2023 Triumph Tiger 1200 | Video Reviews
We test brand new 2023 Triumph Tiger 1200, available in five variants: GT, GT Pro, GT Explorer, Rally Pro and Rally Explorer. The GT models are geared towards street adventures, while the Rally models are designed to stick to the dirt. We drove all but the base GT at the Tiger 1200 world press launch in Portugal.
The updated Tiger 1200 adventure bike is both slimmer and more powerful. It takes 55 lbs and goes heavy with a 1,160cc inline Triple engine tuned from Triple speed 1200 RS, making 148 hp at 9,000 rpm and 96 lb-ft of torque at 7,000 rpm. Reworked from nose to tail and crown to base, the new Tiger 1200 platform also features a new lightweight trellis frame, die-cast aluminum Tri-Link swingarm with ultimate axle drive, semi-axle suspension active Showa, full electronics suite and more.
