Remake spotted on PS4 database – Destructoid
Remake rose on the Sony platform?
Eagle-eyed Reddit users are reporting that Forever Entertainment’s upcoming remake of the Sega arcade classic House of the dead was discovered lurking about the PlayStation PS4 database. The (current) rail shooter revival is only scheduled to release on Nintendo Switch tomorrow, April 7.
As posted by Redditor “the_andshrew”sensational art for House of the Dead: Remake can be found in the PlayStation Network backend, identified by its official Title ID: CUSA29479_00. This is the first major hint that the light pistol will emerge from its grave and onto platforms other than Switch. As of this writing, neither PlayStation nor Forever Entertainment have commented on the alleged leak.
House of the Dead: Remake is a basic reconstruction of Sega’s 1998 arcade hit, which sees two agents, Rogan and G, infiltrate the mansion of the insane Dr. Curien, determined to put an end to the student experiments. Scary and apocalyptic studies are carried out within its walls. The remake will faithfully recreate the original game in all of its gory glory, enhanced with the addition of new weapons, unlockable galleries, a new “Horde” mode, and Crafting abilities image level.
House of the Dead: Remake launches on Nintendo Switch on April 7.
