As a fashion editor, Fashion Week is the industry equivalent of the Super Bowl. It’s an event that we eagerly look forward to (twice a year) every year, to see what new ideas will come to everyone over the next few months. And with the recent concluding part of the fall/winter presentations, there’s a lot New and interesting ideas to talk about.
The autumn collection offers a blend of realism, as seen by the sudden explosion of white jerseys at Bottega Veneta and Prada, along with a dramatic sense of every inch of fantasy and grandeur — just watch over Valentino’s all-pink runway show for further proof. After scanning runways in Paris, New York, Milan and London, the images below amazed me the most. Whether it’s for the futuristic concept they represent or the innovative styling, these are the looks I’m rushing to recreate before coming in fall 2022.
