Youth Dolph accused of murder goes to court for sex offender registration violation
One of the men charged with the murder of Young Dolph was in court Monday.
Justin Johnson appeared in court for violating sex offender registration charges.
According to WLBT, in 2015, Johnson was found guilty of aggravated rape. He is required to report every March, June, September and December to the Memphis police department. He failed to report to the MPD in December 2021 and violated the Sex Offender Verification and Tracking Act of 2004.

Johnson stated in court that “He has no money for an attorney.”
The judge said he would appoint a public defender for the alleged violation. Johnson still doesn’t have a lawyer to fight his murder charge.
Johnson, Cornelius Smith and Shundale Barnett have all been charged with the November 17 shooting of Young Dolph.
Johnson is facing separate charges of first-degree murder, first-degree attempted murder, unlawful possession or possession of a weapon, use of a firearm with felony intent and theft. property between $10,000 and $60,000, records show.
