Slideshow: Winners and Finalists of the 5th Annual Chromatic Photography Awards: Digital Photography Review

Yesterday, the winners and finalists of the 5th annual Chromatic Photography Awards competition were announced. Photographers from all over the world submitted images, professional or amateur, to 20 categories including Architecture, Culture, Nature, People, Sports and Tourism.

Color Photographer of the Year and a $2,000 cash prize went to Felicia Simion for her images of women wearing traditional scarves during the Orthodox Epiphany Day ceremony. Underwater images of an ice diver in the Arctic Circle earned Petr Polach the Chromatic Discovery of the Year award and $1,000.

The winners, finalists and honorary mentions will be published in the Chromatic Prize Annual Book. This slideshow features images from the professional pool. All images selected for this and amateur parts can be viewed on contest website.
