University staff go on strike over salary and pensions
Raj Jethwa, chief executive officer of the Colleges and Universities Employers Association (UCEA), which has 174 member organizations, called the pay strikes an “unrealistic attempt to attempt to force” 146 employers to reopen the ended national pay round, which will have “an impact on students who have suffered so much disruption recently”.
