Ahead of the 2021-22 season, the 75th season of NBA history, Stephen Curry ignited on the heels of Hall of Famer Ray Allen to become the all-time leader in most 3-pointed shots.
Heading into the season, Curry needed the 142 3-pointers needed to get past Allen, and 12 games into the season he’d passed the lead 76 after that.
It’s still early days but Curry is averaging 5.4 goals per game, well above the previous career high of 5.3 he hit last year in 63 games. During the 2015-16 season, where he set an all-time record with 402 goals on his way to winning a second consecutive MVP, Curry averaged 5.1 goals in 79 games.
