The consultant who helped select the jury in the OJ Simpson trial is working with the attorneys for Kyle Rittenhouse

Dimitrius was hired by Rittenhouse’s Guard to help build the profile for the “right” juror in this case and, according to the company’s Vice President Randy Peukert, she’s “probably the best on the planet” at what she does.

A group of 20 people – 11 women and nine men – initially selected to serve on the jury from a group of 179 prospective jurors. The jury selection included a day of serious negotiations in court without the use of a background questionnaire.

Two people were fired during the trial. A juror, a middle-aged man, was dismissed for joking with a deputy minister about the police shot Jacob Blake, an incident that caused the judge to be reprimanded. Another jury, a pregnant woman, was fired after feeling upset and request is removed, the judge said.

How long are the jurors debating now? almost completely dependent on them, but the verdict must be unanimous. This process can take hours, days or weeks.

“There’s always research being done,” Peukert told CNN. “It really gives them [the defense] added benefits and confidence… what they present will resonate with the judges. “

Rittenhouse, 18, was charged with five felony counts: first-degree murder, first-degree reckless murder, first-degree murder, and two first-degree reckless endangerment counts safe. The jury may also consider lesser offenses on two of the five counts.

If found guilty of the most serious offences, Rittenhouse could face the mandatory sentence of life in prison.

Dimitrius performed typical jury or trial consultant duties and was hired four to six months ago, Peukert said.

She has presented in the jury’s selection process, oversees the jury and assists with the trial and is often seen sitting next to Wendy Rittenhouse, Rittenhouse’s mother.
