Delonte West welcomes no obstruction fee
Former NBA guard Delonte West pleaded not guilty to charges of obstruction/resistance without violence, opening a container, and disorderly conduct.
The incident happened in Boynton Beach, Florida in October.
West is said to have smashed a glass window in the lobby of the Boynton Beach police station while shouting profanities and slurs about homosexuals. Reports also say that he was keeping two barrels of wine open.
West then shied away from the police and was ordered to put his liquor container on the ground. After complying, police reported that he reached for his belt. A police officer then pulled out a Taser and West “continued to be belligerent and shouting obscenities and slurs” while he was ushered into a patrol car.
