I hate to admit it, but we are nearing the end of 2022. Summer is behind us and the holiday season is fast approaching.
Throughout the year, incredible hotels have opened globally, including The long-awaited Aman New York (with nightly rates over $3,000), stunning architecture Conrad Los Angeles and Madrid versionwhere I stopped for a drink at the swanky lobby bar earlier this year.

If you’re hoping to escape the cold, there’s great news. A lot of the hotels and resorts we’ve been eyeing are opening in Mexico. Or, if you’re considering Nashville, one of the hottest hotel markets in the country, get excited about one of the most glamorous (and expensive) hotels in town.
Just remember, new hotels are especially susceptible to delays due to supply and staffing issues. So while these hotels all plan to open before the ball lands in Times Square, some hotels may not officially open until 2023.
Four Seasons Nashville Hotel
It feels like hotels are opening left and right in Nashville, and luxury newcomers to the market (such as Conrad Nashville) are giving the scene a premium edge. The current, Four Seasons is slated to premiere later this year and is expected by many to become the most expensive hotel in town.
Located in the upscale downtown by the Cumberland River, this hotel will be close to the lower Broadway action and within walking distance of the Country Music Hall of Fame, the convention center, and the historic Ryman Auditorium. The hotel will include 193 rooms and 42 suites with luxurious yet modern design that will make you rethink Southern style.
Guests can lounge by the infinity pool on the 7th floor or head to the spa. They can also take composition lessons; The hotel can even arrange a visit to a recording studio to record your song. In terms of food, Mimo will serve Italian food with Southern flares.

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya
In MexicoHyatt will open a new iteration of the adult-only all-inclusive Zilara brand this December. Zilara is one of the most luxurious all-inclusive brands and is a big hit with travelers sitting on a variety of World of Hyatt properties.
Spread over 70 acres, the resort will offer a variety of room types, from a 474-square-foot King room with a balcony to a 1,582-square-foot presidential suite with a patio, plunge pool and kitchen.
Guests coming here will definitely not go hungry. There are four restaurants, including a classic all-inclusive buffet, an upscale Italian restaurant and sushi bar, plus five bars and lounges including Social, a craft cocktail bar.
Additionally, guests can take advantage of the multiple swimming pools, tennis courts, wine tasting with a diner, non-electric water sports, nightly entertainment, and the Zen Spa.

Virgin Hotel in Glasgow
