So, what are Zara’s most expensive looking pieces? It is different with every drop. Now, I find myself drawn to its neutral palette — beige, bright white, earthy, and of course, the most expensive looking color of them all: black. Fabrication is also a key component of Zara’s more upscale aesthetic. I think it makes the strongest broderie pieces—an embroidery technique that always looks upscale and a little bit French—on the boulevard.
You’ll notice that my edit is almost completely summer ready. and even if you don’t go abroad, there are lots of prints, crochet and different weaving techniques that help break up the block color streak underneath but don’t take away from the whole emotion I’m aiming for.
