2025 Chevy Equinox Electric Starts at $34,995 for 319 Miles, Gets a Power Boost

Chevrolet appears to have kept its promise, launching the Equinox EV, which starts at just $34,995 and has a range of more than 300 miles.

Chevy says the base 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV LT will be available soon. It rides on 19-inch machined wheels and lacks any tech, including a large 17.7-inch infotainment touchscreen with an 11-inch information display, a full suite of active safety features, and remote and hands-free start. But it comes with cloth, manually adjustable seats, and no baggie and steering wheel heaters, making electric car ownership in the winter much easier.

The base price of the Equinox EV is $34,995, which Chevy has originally confirmed for 2024includes a $1,395 destination charge, and will likely be bumped to the same 319-mile EPA range rating as current 2024 Equinox models with front-wheel drive. Chevy says it will be eligible for the $7,500 EV tax credit in 2024, so the price essentially drops to just $27,495.
