The Toyota RAV4 Currently only available in Australia as a hybrid… but that’s what most people buy anyway.
Toyota confirmed on June 5 that it had closed orders for the RAV4 with the naturally aspirated 2.0-liter and 2.5-liter four-cylinder engines, as part of a mass purge of gasoline-powered models.
This also includes versions of Wreath, Corolla Cross, CamryAnd Kluger No hybrid powertrain.

Final deliveries of petrol-powered versions will continue over the next few months, while deliveries of petrol-powered Klugers will extend into next year.
As many as 94.2 percent of RAV4 models sold in the first half of 2024 will be equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid powertrain, even higher than the consumption rate of hybrid versions of the Kluger (76.9 percent) and Corolla Cross (85.8 percent).
The elimination of gasoline-powered models increased the base price by $2,500.

XSE
The RAV4 will only be available as a hybrid, as some rivals are only adding hybrid powertrains.
It has an iron grip on the title of best-selling car in its segment. In the first half of this year, Toyota sold 25,405 units, with Mitsubishi Outlander ranked second with 14,443 sales.
Toyota confirmed earlier this month that the wait time for the RAV4 is now down to just four months thanks to improved supply.

Maintenance and Warranty
The RAV4 is covered by a five-year, unlimited-mileage warranty.
Servicing is required every 12 months or 15,000km, whichever comes first. The first five services cost a maximum of $260 each.

The RAV4 received a five-star ANCAP safety rating based on testing conducted by Euro NCAP in 2019.
The car received a score of 93% for adult occupant protection, 89% for child occupant protection, 85% for vulnerable pedestrian protection and 83% for safety assist.

All models have black interiors, although the XSE has blue accents. The Cruiser can be had with Nutmeg leather (beige), while the Edge has Orchid Brown and Light Gray Soft interiors.
